The all-new Jaguar XF achieved the impossible and performed the world’s longest hire-wire water crossing. This stunt took place above London’s business district, Canary Wharf on two 34mm carbon wires, suspended 18 metres above water, which supported the vehicle. This 240 metre stunt journey showcased the new XF’s lightweight potentials.

Meanwhile, experts and structural engineers were on hand to determine precise drive conditions, based on comprehensive crosswind analysis.

The new XF is based on the brand’s advanced aluminum architecture. Moreover, the car boasts segment-leading figures of over 70mpg and 104g/Km CO2.
