MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS F1 driver and champion of Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2014 Lewis Hamilton took time off the track in Abu Dhabi on Thursday (26th November 2015) to attend the global debut of the new Mercedes-AMG A 45 4MATIC World Champion Edition model. The unveiling took place at an exclusive event for VIP guests and media on the luxury Zaya Nurai Island. Limited production of only 250 units worldwide, the special edition Mercedes-AMG A 45 4MATIC will be available for sale in the first quarter of 2016.
Lewis Hamilton is currently in the UAE capital for the final Grand Prix Championship race of the season, where he will also collect his third Driver's Championship title, secured before the final three races of the season had taken place. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix sees 10 teams and 20 drivers compete in the final of the 19 Grand Prix races for both the World Drivers' and Constructors' Championships. Mercedes currently dominates the Championship, with Lewis Hamilton in the lead followed by Nico Rosberg.
Mercedes claimed the 2015 Constructors' title at the Russian Grand Prix, ahead of Ferrari and Williams. Hamilton has already secured the FIA Pole Trophy, having amassed eleven pole positions thus far in the season.
