Radical released their newest and fastest car yet "The RXC Turbo 500" at this year's Geneva show.
The Radical RXC Turbo 500 has been created over the course of five years and this is a road-legal track car ,as the company is stating.
The car has a unique design but most importantly its performance bar increased with the new model delivering over 530bhp at 6,100rpm and 481lbft at 5,000rpm, endowing the car with a power to-weight ratio of over 462bhp per ton ! RXC Turbo 500 can sprint to 100 mph in just 6.8 seconds.
Radical hopes that it will become the fastest road legal car to lap the Nürburging, a 150,000 capacity motorsports complex Located in Germany.
The car has two high-performance water cooled Garrett GT28u turbochargers fitted with steel ball bearing cartridges, and specially designed anti-surge compressor housings.
The fuel and intake system has been completely reworked, with a re-machined and fluid-optimized intake manifold upgraded to contain the six high-performance Ford fuel injectors.
The RXC Turbo 500 will no doubt weigh less, so consider the performance possibility of 530 horsepower saddled with less than 900 kg.
