Audi cars are stylish, purely designed and tailored with high technology components. Now what if we add to that, extreme performance, more athletic and muscular road stance, carbon fibers everywhere, wild exhaust mufflers, sharper edges and more sculpted appearance, with spoilers, LEDs and obese rims? Well the result is simply the RS model line-up and instead of one, we will introduce you to 3 of them, let's do it!

The Audi RS 5 Coupé

It's simply Audi’s model athlete, the most affordable RS, based on the A5 it has sharper shape. The elegant two-door model has striking elements at the front of the car and wedge-shaped headlights. Utilizing xenon plus technology, they include narrow LED strips for the daytime running lights. The taillights and the rear bumper have also been redesigned.

Interior updates include the leather-wrapped RS 5 multifunction sport steering wheel with the ring flattened at the bottom, redesigned controls, the interior is a study in black. The standard inlays are carbon, with aluminum, Piano finish or stainless steel mesh available as options.

The Audi RS 5 Coupé has a 4.2 FSI engine, a high-revving, normally aspirated V8, produces 450 hp at 8,250 rpm, with the peak torque of 430 Nm available between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm. It accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. Audi will increase the electronically governed top speed to 280 km/h upon request. With its high efficiency and its long top gear, the standard seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission also contributes to the good fuel economy.

Like every Audi RS model, the RS 5 Coupé applies its power to the road with quattro permanent all-wheel drive, here in the latest evolutionary stage with the self-locking crown gear center differential and torque vectoring. Audi also offers the optional sport differential, which actively distributes the power between the rear wheels.

The Audi RS 6 Avant

The new Audi RS 6 Avant is self-assured and powerful thanks to 4 liter, direct-injection twin-turbo V8 delivering 560 hp and a constant 700 Nm of torque between 1,750 and 5,500 rpm. Two twin-scroll turbochargers ensure that considerable torque is generated quickly. This large Avant accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. On request, Audi will increase the car’s top speed from 280 km/h to 305 km/h.

Average fuel consumption is 9.8 liters per 100 kilometers – 30 percent less than the previous model. The cylinder on demand (COD) system reduces standard fuel consumption by around five percent; driving at moderate speeds can achieve up to twelve percent. The power is transferred via the sportily tuned eight-speed tiptronic to the quattro permanent all-wheel drive, which comes paired with a sport differential to actively distribute power between the rear wheels.
The new Audi RS 6 Avant boasts 20-inch forged wheels as standard. 21-inch wheels are also available. Six-piston brake calipers encircle the front brake discs in a wave design. Audi offers optional carbon-fiber ceramic discs for the front axle.
The exterior of this high-performance Avant includes matt aluminum applications, a high-gloss black protective grille, the bumpers, extensions on the sills and wheel arches. An RS roof spoiler, a diffuser and the RS exhaust system’s two tailpipes make it clear that the RS 6 Avant is the sporty high-end vehicle of this model line. The RS Sport exhaust system creates an even more distinctive sound profile. LED headlights, LED rear lights as well as servo closing doors and an electronic boot lid with foot sensor are standard in the Middle East.

The interior of the new Audi RS 6 Avant is dominated by sporty black. The instrument dials are white and the needles red. The RS-specific flat-bottomed and decorative carbon inlays accentuate the look. RS sport seats with pronounced side bolsters and integrated head restraints are standard. The seats are covered in Valcona leather or a combination of Alcantara and leather.
Standard equipment in the new Audi RS 6 Avant also includes four-zone automatic air conditioning, MMI navigation plus with MMI touch and the Bang & Olufsen advanced sound system. High-end options range from a head-up display through to driver-assistance systems including adaptive cruise control with Stop&Go function and the night vision assistant. Audi connect allows passengers to surf the web via a Wi-Fi hotspot.

The Audi RS 7

The RS 7 combines the power of a sports car with the elegance of a large, five-door coupé.
The long engine hood, the 2.92 meter wheelbase and the short overhangs create a sculpture with powerfully harmonious proportions. Specific details on the exterior, including the distinctively styled bumpers, partly tinted LED headlights, the high-gloss black grill and the flared sills, set sporty accents.

The heart of the RS 7 is also the 4.0 TFSI engine installed in the RS6. Thanks to the specifically tuned RS adaptive air suspension, the body sits 20 millimeters lower. The integrated damping control varies as a function of the road conditions, driving style and the mode chosen in Audi drive select. Audi offers the tauter RS sport suspension plus with Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) as an alternative. Dynamic steering, with its steplessly variable steering ratio, and the RS Sport exhaust come as a standard in the Middle East.

The Audi RS 7 comes with 20-inch forged aluminum wheels in seven twin-spoke design. The internally vented brake discs feature a wave design for a weight saving of nearly three kilograms. Audi installs carbon fiber-ceramic discs as an option. The electronic stabilization control system (ESC) has a Sport mode that can be deactivated altogether.

The elegant dynamics of the exterior carry over to the interior of the Audi RS 7. RS sport seats with pronounced side bolsters and integrated head restraints are standard. Like the RS6's, they are by leather or a combination of black Alcantara and leather with diamond quilting. Luggage capacity ranges from 535 to 1,390 liters.

Standard equipment in the new Audi RS 7 includes MMI navigation plus with touchpad control (MMI touch) and the Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System. Optional high-end features range from a head-up display to the driver assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control with stop & go function and the night vision assistant with highlighting of detected pedestrians. Audi connect allows passengers to surf the web freely via a WLAN hotspot.

Voila, you almost know everything about the Audi RS Family, up to you to choose, but wait, forgot to tell you, you have to be rich...
