Ducati MIG RR e-Bike 2020
The MIG-RR from Ducati is the Italian firm’s first step into the world of e-MTB, or the electric mountain bikes. This bike developed in partnership with THOK E-bikes, another Italian company, and based on Thok MIG-R, has been optimized for trail performance with more travel, different wheel sizes and modified design elements, as well as higher specifications. The basic principle is that an electric motor provides additional pedalling force when the rider pedals, letting him rides further and faster for the same effort put in. The MIG-RR has a 250 Watt Shimano motor that applies power through the chain to the rear wheel, noting that to keep the bike flexible and to extend battery life, MIG-RR comes with an 11-speed setup from Shimano. In Eco mode, the assistance is light, while Trail and Boost modes let the biker ride more easily over obstacles.
