The Fiat 500X crossover offers two engine options, an available nine-speed automatic transmission, available all-wheel drive with a disconnecting rear axle for improved fuel efficiency and a full list of safety, comfort and convenience features.

It is the newest addition to the Italian brand's lineup and provides all the style of the iconic 500 with the practicality and surefootedness of an all-wheel drive sport utility vehicle.

The four-door, five-passenger 500X is powered by either a 160-hp MultiAir 1.4-liter turbo four cylinder engine with the choice of a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive only; or a 180-hp 2.4-liter Tigershark MultiAir2 with a nine-speed auto as the only transmission and a choice of front- or all-wheel drive.

Available in three trims, Pop, Trekking and Lounge, all are standard with electronic stability control, electric power steering, active front head restraints, bi-halogen headlights, air conditioning, keyless entry, and power windows. Above the Pop trim, features such as heated seats, leather steering wheel and shift knob, satellite radio, remote start, passive entry, power, driver seat, auto climate control, touchscreen audio system, rearview camera, alloy wheels and fog lights are standard or available on the other trims.

The only major change for 2018 is that the Uconnect 4 system is standard on all models, and includes a seven-inch display and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability.
