بماذا تتميّز سيارة بي أم دبليو الإختبارية؟

أطلقت بي أم دبليو نسخة تجريبية جديدة لكن هذه السيارة تتميّز تقنية الحقن المباشر للماء في الشاحن التوربيني. 
 
قوّة هذه البي أم دبليو مصدرها محرك 3 اسطوانات بسعة 1.5 لتر بقوة 218 حصان. 
 
تعمل هذه التقنية الجديدة على رش رذاذ من الماء بداخل مداخل هواء نظام الشحن التوربيني (تيربو) على الهواء الساخن لتخفيض حرارة الاحتراق داخل المحرك بمقدار 25 درجة مئوية، الأمر الذي يساهم بتخفيف الانبعاثات ورفع القوة الإجمالية للمحرك بمقدار 10%.
