Mercedes Future Bus with CityPilot 2018
In order to help solving the traffic problems in densely populated areas and metropolitan regions, Mercedes revealed a very modern and practical self-driving bus. Its CityPilot function, based on an autonomous system, and which uses cameras, radar technology and connectivity features, can now recognize traffic lights, safely navigate junctions, pulls up to bus stops and opens and closes the doors, and apply full brake in emergency.
