In a recent video Porsche published, the loudest five Porsche cars were showcased.
Hosted by Jean Pierre Kraemer and Benjamin Marjanac, The two guys went to the secret warehouse of Porsche Museum in Zuffenhausen to see which of Porsche cars are the loudest.

They brought a sound level meter with them and started the journey.

Number 5: Porsche 911 SC “Safari”
The list starts with an absolute classic. This 911 SC Safari rally car was a massive hit back in 1978.



Number 4: Porsche 911 RSR
Next, we jump forward a few decades to a 996 race car. This beauty holds a flat-six engine under the rear deck. At 123.4 decibels, it's not much louder than the Safari, but the sound is quite different.



Number 3: Porsche 928 Trigema
Back in 1983, a tiny group of Porsche employees decided to prep a 928 for competition in the VLN racing series at the Nürburgring. The car was quite a success with three wins out of five starts.



Number 2: Porsche 804 Formel 1
The 804 Formula One car packs an air-cooled 1.5-liter, flat-eight engine that makes quite a noise.



Number 1: Porsche 911 Carrera RSR Turbo 2.1
The 911 returns, and it's quite a special car. The RSR Turbo 2.1 packs wild bodywork and an even wilder engine.
