New Mercedes-Maybach S-Class
The new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class redefines what a luxury saloon can be. It combines technical and design updates to create a calm, refined driving experience. The Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) debuts in a Maybach, offering a connected and intuitive digital journey. Orders open in Europe from 25 March 2026, with other markets to follow.
In 2026, Mercedes-Benz marks 140 years since the invention of the automobile. For 105 years, Maybach has focused on high-end luxury. Mercedes-Maybach combines Mercedes-Benz technology with Maybach exclusivity.

Design
The exterior includes a larger grille, updated lighting, and chrome elements. Some versions feature illuminated details such as the grille surround and logos. New wheel designs are available, including 20- and 21-inch forged options.
The Night Series package adds darker exterior finishes and new color options, including nautic blue metallic.
Interior and Comfort
The interior has been updated with new materials, lighting, and layout. The center console includes wireless charging, while the rear offers dedicated holders for champagne flutes and a refrigerated compartment.
Ambient lighting includes multiple color options and reacts to different functions. A leather-free interior option combines alternative materials with the same quality standards.
Performance
The engine lineup has been updated. The V8 and V12 engines offer improved output, while the plug-in hybrid combines a 6-cylinder engine with an electric motor for increased efficiency and electric driving capability.
Additional insulation improves noise and vibration levels. The updated suspension system enhances ride comfort using predictive adjustments.
Technology
The new MB.OS system supports over-the-air updates and advanced features. The MBUX system includes a virtual assistant powered by AI, integrated with services from Microsoft and Google.
Rear passengers have access to dedicated screens and controls for comfort and entertainment.
Driver assistance systems include MB.DRIVE ASSIST and MB.DRIVE PARKING ASSIST, with expanded capabilities depending on the market.
Customization and Production
The MANUFAKTUR program offers a wide range of exterior and interior options, including more than 150 paint finishes and hundreds of interior combinations.
Production of the new model will begin in April 2026 at the Sindelfingen plant in Germany.
