Tesla announced the introduction of Model Y L Premium – a new six-seat variant of its global bestseller Model Y.

Building on the strengths of the premium SUV, Model Y L Premium delivers significantly more interior space, versatility and utility, making it the ultimate family vehicle.

With a larger cabin and extended wheelbase, Model Y L Premium offers a unique three-row, six-passenger experience while maximizing comfort and cargo capacity.

Model Y L Premium is now available to order from AED 224,990 in the United Arab Emirates. Customer deliveries begin in November 2026.

Designed to Do More

With a wheelbase extended by 150 mm and overall length increased by 179 mm, Model Y L Premium creates a dramatically more spacious and versatile interior. Owners can easily prioritize either maximum legroom or maximum storage.

An optimized roof design provides an additional 70 mm of headroom in the second row for a more open and comfortable feel. The third row has been specifically engineered for taller passengers. Even without increasing vehicle width, Tesla has expanded rear shoulder room by 20 mm through clever packaging.

Thanks to the new body architecture, Model Y L Premium offers best-in-class cargo space of 2,539 liters. With all six passengers on board, the rear trunk can still accommodate two large suitcases plus one cabin-size trolley bag, while the front trunk holds an additional cabin-size bag. When the third row is folded flat, the capacity increases to six large suitcases in total.

Larger rear doors improve access, and the expanded rear quarter windows ensure third-row passengers enjoy a bright and comfortable ride.

Curated Interior

Model Y L Premium features three spacious rows finished with premium handcrafted textiles in a super-quiet, versatile cabin designed for maximum comfort on every journey.

Every seat is engineered to maximize headroom, legroom and support. First-row passengers benefit from heated and ventilated seats with adjustable headrests, a thigh cushion extender, a 16-inch central display (2560 x 1600 resolution), and a 50W wireless fast charger with active cooling.

Second-row captain’s chairs include an 8-inch touchscreen for climate, gaming and entertainment, powered armrests, one-touch folding, ventilation, heating, and 8-way power adjustment with up to 125 degrees of recline. The third row offers power recline, one-touch folding, and dedicated climate control. Both second and third rows offer charging ports and fold completely flat.

Model Y L Premium comes standard with acoustic glass and 19" Machina 2.0 Wheels, minimizing road noise. A premium audio system with 19 speakers delivers an immersive experience from every seat.

First-Class Safety and Driving Experience

Safety remains paramount at Tesla. Model Y L Premium features comprehensive side curtain airbags for the first and second rows, plus dedicated third-row airbags, providing full side-impact protection for all occupants, children to adults.

Reinforced floor beams and a new integrated die-cast rear underbody increase structural rigidity and reduce intrusion in side impacts.

Model Y L Premium comes equipped with advanced driver assistance features as standard, including Autosteer, Traffic-Aware Cruise Control and automatic emergency braking. The vehicle is hardware-ready to support Full Self-Driving (Supervised)*.

True to Tesla DNA, Model Y L Premium does not compromise on driving dynamics. With electronic damping and adaptive suspension, it offers precise, stable, and engaging handling while prioritizing comfort. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.0 seconds with a top speed of 201 km/h.

With a WLTP range of 681 km and access to Tesla’s extensive global Supercharger network, including 220+ Superchargers across the United Arab Emirates, Model Y L Premium is ready for long family journeys in complete comfort.
