لاند روفر ديفندر من السيارات المحببة لدى الملكة التي كانت تجول بها في في أغلب المراسم الملكية البريطانية. وكانت الملكة قد كرمت جهدهم هذا العام بجائزة تطوير المشاريع للتنمية المستدامة لعام 2015. 
 
والجدير بالذكر أن لاند روفر هي السيارة الوحيدة التي حملت ثلاثة أشخاص من العائلة الملكية البريطانية في المراسم و المحافل الرسمية.
 
وقد قامت لاند روفر بإهداء الملكة اليزابيث سيارة جديدة مميّزة .هذه السيارة الخاصة تمكّن الملكة من تحية االحاضرين بسهولة بسبب عدم وجود سقف للسيارة بدايةً من مقاعد الصف الثاني و إلى أخرها. 
 
 
و إستخدمت لاند روفر قاعدة العجلات الطويلة في السيارة بالإضافة الى محرك V6 ديزل هجين بسعة 3.0 لتر بقوة 335 حصان و 700 نيوتن-متر من عزم الدوران٬ ويوزع المحرك قوة الأحصنة على العجلات الأربعة عبر ناقل حركة أوتوماتيك مكون من 8 سرعات من شركة ZF.
