The 2016 CTS-V made its debut at this year’s Detroit auto show
 
The Car's design is unique, the vented carbon-fiber hood, widened fenders with extractor vents, and the entire fascia and grille treatment are all V-specific.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Major options are Recaro sport seats, a panoramic sunroof, and the Corvette’s awesome Performance Data Recorder.
 
 
 
 
 


A Carbon Fiber package brings a bare carbon finish to the hood vent and a deeper splitter and taller rear spoiler, and Cadillac even book-matches the material’s weave down the pieces center line.
 
 
 
 
Power comes from A supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine, upgraded with direct injection and a smaller, more efficient supercharge. It delivers eye-popping performance of 640 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque.
 
 
 
 
Johan de Nysschen, Cadillac president stated in the official release of Cadillac "V-Series represents the pinnacle of Cadillac, a brand that now makes drivers' cars at the highest level".
 
 
He added "The new CTS-V is essentially two cars in one: a luxury sedan with sophisticated road manners and a track-capable sports car with awe-inspiring performance. This type of car is exclusive, the domain of the few who can access this level of incredible capability. V-Series matches or overtakes the finest cars in this elite class, while being more accessible."
