Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the all-new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé, marking a bold new era for high-performance electric sports cars. Built on the advanced AMG.EA platform, the new model combines extreme power, cutting-edge technology, and the emotional driving experience AMG is known for.
The car is powered by three innovative axial-flux electric motors — two at the rear and one at the front — delivering up to 1,169 horsepower in the GT 63 version. This setup allows the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.1 seconds, with a top speed of 300 km/h, making it one of the fastest electric AMGs ever created.
One of the standout features is the next-generation battery system inspired by Formula 1 technology. It uses direct cooling for every individual battery cell to maintain maximum performance under intense driving conditions. The battery also supports ultra-fast 600 kW charging, allowing more than 460 km of range to be added in only 10 minutes.
Even though it is fully electric, AMG worked to preserve the emotional character of its legendary V8 models. Through the AMGFORCE S+ mode, the car delivers simulated V8 sound effects, gearshift sensations, and an immersive driving experience designed to feel as dramatic and engaging as a traditional AMG performance car.
The exterior design features aggressive styling, a sleek fastback silhouette, and active aerodynamic elements that automatically adjust for better efficiency and stability at high speeds. The car also includes advanced technologies such as rear-axle steering and the AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension system to improve agility and handling.
Inside, the cabin blends sporty character with modern luxury, featuring large digital displays, an AI-powered MBUX infotainment system, and performance-focused seats. Multiple driving modes and extensive personalization options further highlight AMG’s goal of proving that the electric future can still deliver excitement, luxury, and true performance.
